change verb \ˈchānj\

verb \ˈchānj\
: to become different
: to make (someone or something) different
: to become something else

The past is not what you remember it as. Things aren't like they used to be.

When one misses or thinks of the past and ponders on  something, one  can appreciate those moments, experiences, and chapters of life, but ultimately, things will never be the same. People change. Time changes people. With time, we experience too many new things that alter us and make us different. Its crazy to imagine "going back" would ever even slightly be how things once were.
