Sunrise King

 I've always chased sunsets

But I'm thinking of welcoming sunrises now

Sunsets always mean it's the end

Beautiful, but it brings the night

The dark approaches. It leaves me cold

I've had it all wrong

I've been chasing and holding onto that last glimpse of light before it fades away

The sunrise means the beginning

The beginning of a brand new day

A brand new hope

Something new

I will stand paitently 

now

waiting for the day to get brighter and brighter 

Let it wash over me and fill me with warmth

I'm ready to welcome sunrises now
